Melvyn A. Gerstein, M.D. received his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and completed further training at Los Angeles County General Hospital and the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary in Chicago. Board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, he is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, American College of Eye Surgeons, Chicago Ophthalmological Society and Alpha Omega Alpha, the Honor Medical Society.

"Many of my patients have been with me since I first went into practice," says Dr. Gerstein. "Now, I care for their children and grandchildren. Developing relationships with these families has always been my priority. I treat them as I would my own."

Craig H. Gerstein, M.D. earned his medical degree with honors from the Chicago Medical School. After an internship at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, he completed his residency at Northwestern University Medical Center, where he served as chief resident in Ophthalmology. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Northwestern University Medical Center. Board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, he is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Chicago Ophthalmological Society and Alpha Omega Alpha, the Honor Medical Society.

Dr. Melvyn Gerstein and Dr. Craig Gerstein are on staff at Illinois Masonic Medical Center and St. Francis Hospital of Evanston. Dr. Craig Gerstein is also on the staff of Northwestern University Medical Center and Evanston Hospital.

Dr. Gerstein both specialize in small-incision, no-stitch cataract with lens implantation surgery, multifocal interocular lenses, refractive (LASIK) procedures, ICL (intraocular contact lens) and cosmetic enhancements such as Botox injections.
